Exploring outside with my pinhole camera
Pinhole camera
I didn't manage to take photos of the making process of the pinhole camera as the first time around my pinhole camera wasn't successful. This was because the body of my camera wasn't completely light-proof. I did try saving the Celebrations plastic tub by coating the inside with black spray paint but it kept chipping so I used a Pringles cylinder instead.
Below are both the Negative and Positive images. It was interesting to see what the actual pinhole camera would pick up, as the first image shows me standing in front of a tree and I remember thinking I was standing quite close to the camera but in actual fact, I wasn't. I have to bear in mind that I need to be much closer to the pinhole camera if I want to do a portrait type of shot.

The pinhole camera has quite a wide lens and the images shown are slightly warped. I had some problems with the sturdiness of my pinhole camera as the flap that I used to allow light to come through kept coming unstuck and flipping back. This meant I had to touch the camera which led to my images being a bit blurry and shaky. My camera was sat for 30 seconds whilst 20 plus school children walked past. I was hoping that my pinhole camera would pick up something but it didn't.
