Researching using sound to paint

I find this process really interesting, especially the idea of sound physically affecting the paint. However, observing their experiment, I feel that when the colours mixed too much they became quite murky, which is something I would want to avoid as I would like each colour to keep its form.

I think my expectation was a little high and in my opinion, I was expecting something with more of a wow factor.
