Ags Andrew

Agsandrew, Stained Glass Forever series, date unknown

Agsandrew is an abstract artist whose work focuses on faces and human connection. His portraits are not realistic but are made using flowing lines and bold, blended colour. Facial features are simplified and often merge into one another, which gives the work an emotional and expressive feel rather than a detailed or literal one.

What draws me to Agsandrew’s work is his use of colour to communicate feeling. The colours move through the face and into the surrounding space, creating a strong sense of movement and energy. His work feels intuitive and expressive, as if it is responding to emotion rather than careful planning.

Agsandrew appears to create his work digitally, using layered colour, soft blending, and flowing lines to build abstract faces. Although the work has a smooth and dreamlike quality, it feels intentionally composed and consistent in style. His focus on emotion over realism is something I find inspiring and relevant to my own practice.
