Photographer Masuki Rina Taipingshan captured this trail’s magical atmosphere, showing foggy landscapes, moss-covered beams, and plants growing everywhere in the National Forest Recreation Area in northern Yilan. This is a popular destination near Taipei, known for its misty scenery and lush vegetation. It features the Jianqing Historic Trail, a path that follows old railway tracks and trestles from the area’s logging history. 

This photograph exudes a captivating and magical charm because of the mystery of where this old railway line leads to and the way nature seems to have taken over and reclaimed its land.  I aspire to recreate a similar scene for the mystical land that lies hidden beyond a gate.

Professional Practice Talk Talk 1 - Tom Hackett It was really interesting how Tom took us on a journey through his work. The first thing up on the screen was his CV, which started off as a list format and then spiralled on a journey of organised chaos that he navigated us through. I found Tom's work and journey really inspiring. Like the huge hand-knitted coloured net that covered the building above. "You have to go to the world.... The world won't go to you" I really like this quote above from Tom because as a working artist, you have to push hard and grow a thick skin to get your work out there. 1st visit to the castle for the new brief Below is an audio review of some paintings I favoured and why at the Nottingham Castle gallery. On the left is the Harold Knight 'The Girl in the white dress' that I responded to last year. I wanted to show how similar it is to the Janine Forbes-Robertson 'Portrait of Cecilia' 1912 painting on the right that drew me in this year.
