Continuing with the test pieces Traces of Landscape

 Further exploring with the small extruded test pieces

I wanted to pour some resin into a frame and set my extruded pieces into that but I didn't have any to hand. Instead, I improvised by pouring some clear wax into a small frame with the test pieces placed inside. I wanted to see how this would look before using resin with my ceramic pieces. I poured a base coat first of clear wax, then placed the broken pieces on top, followed by more clear wax.

It did what it was supposed to do but I wasn't totally blown away by it. Once the wax had cooled down it started to shrink and started to come away from the frame So it wasn't very successful.
